Mango AW 2011

Remember that one time I blogged about the Nivea X Mango Event that I attended? Well, while rummaging through the stuff, I found such awesome pieces that I decided to blog about the clothes again. This time though, it’ll be more of Mango and less of me. 🙂

I checked out Mango’s latest pieces from the AW 2011 collection and was thrilled with the clothes. The colors were mostly black, white and red – colors I absolutely adore. I did some research and according to Mango, they took inspiration from the idea of an ‘event’. They combined certain elements of both day/eveningwear, used timeless contrasts 0f masculine/feminine pieces,  and played with textures and fabrics such as fur, feathers, leather and sequins.  The description may sound serious and intimidating, but trust me, translated to the runway, it’s FASHOWN. (okay, it’s way past my bedtime and I really hope I’m still making sense here). You know what, I’ll just show you my top picks.
